The first is to purchase the BJU grade level hard drive kit. You can also purchase all the materials without the hard drive component, meaning that you will have to teach or your child will have to work independently.

Both options, either with the DVD component or without are a complete curriculum for each grade level. So if you want something that includes all of your language arts, history, science and math - this very well could be the option for you. There are also grade appropriate electives which can be included depending on the package that you choose. Everything is laid out and so there is truly no teacher preparation beyond examining the materials at the beginning of the year to familiarize yourself with the content.

You do not have to order an entire grade level package to get the benefit of one or two grade level courses. BJU sells everything separately and you can order the textbooks and/or workbooks for numerous subjects from grades K to 12 including:

• Math
• Foreign language
• Art
• Science
• Penmanship
• Writing
• Reading
• Language arts

One of the other services that BJU offers to homeschoolers is testing. You can order test materials yourself and test your own students (provided you meet certain qualifications) or you can find someone who is a qualified tester near you to do the testing for you. BJU Press scores and sends the scores directly to you, providing valuable information.

Many people love Bob Jones homeschooling materials for a variety of reasons. For anyone looking for a "school at home" experience, BJU is hard to beat.
